What gets lost without a written record
The facts are given once
A client tells their version in one go, with dates and names. Reconstructing it from memory loses exactly what matters.
Writing prevents listening
Taking notes during an interview means giving up observing, probing and noticing what is not said.
The exact wording makes the case
What the client said, in their words, proves decisive later. A summary written afterwards has already smoothed it.
The case note waits
Written that evening or the next day, it arrives once the memory has faded, and not always.
A verifiable transcript, not only a summary
The app keeps both: the timestamped transcript of the interview, where tapping a sentence replays the audio at that instant, and the note structured by the chosen template. When a point of the case turns on a formulation, it stays consultable.
Professional secrecy, to settle before recording
Recording an interview requires the agreement of the person present, in Switzerland as in France, and all the more so in a relationship covered by professional secrecy.
Two points fall to your judgement and to your bar, not to ours: the regime applying to the recording of an interview covered by secrecy, and the retention of that recording in your organisation. We do not claim to settle these questions; we tell you where the data lives and how to erase it.
Recordings, transcripts and notes are stored in Switzerland, Zurich region. Transcription and drafting run on European entry points, outside Switzerland. Nothing is sold or shared for commercial purposes, and your recordings are not used to train models. Deleting a recording erases it, audio and transcript included.
In practice
The first meeting and a witness interview are the two moments where the gap between what was said and what was written costs most. Start there.
Filing the note
The note exports to Word to be taken into your firm’s template, and to PDF to be filed as it stands. The transcript alone exports separately, which lets you keep the words and the summary as two distinct items in the file.
The templates that apply here
Taken from the 274-template catalogue that ships with the app. Each one imposes its structure on the note.
